Overview
For travelers who crave true desert solitude, raw beauty, and time to breathe deeply under infinite stars—our 4-Day Erg Chigaga Desert Tour is the definitive way to experience Morocco’s last wild frontier. Deeper, slower, and more immersive than the 3-day version, this itinerary grants you two full days in the heart of Erg Chigaga: time to hike dunes at dawn, share stories with Berber nomads, sleep twice under the Milky Way, and return renewed—not rushed.
Known as the “Desert of Silence,” Erg Chigaga lies 60km beyond the last village—no roads, no electricity, no other camps. Here, dunes rise 100m high, silence is sacred, and the only footprints are yours and your camel’s. This is not tourism. It’s pilgrimage.
Note: Due to extreme summer heat, this tour operates September to June only. (July & August: we recommend Erg Chebbi.)
